It sounds impossible — the same number winning an operator's 1st prize in two consecutive draws. The odds of any specific repeat are 1 in 10,000 per draw. But across 40 years and 22,120 archived operator-draws, improbable things get their chances. We searched the full archive:

Same number, same operator, consecutive draws in our archive. 'Consecutive' means the operator's next archived draw date.

The standouts

2255 is the one for the history books: it won Magnum's 1st prize on 11 December 2001 — a Tuesday special draw — and then won again in the regular Wednesday draw the next day.

And August 2024 produced a genuine coincidence-on-coincidence: in the same pair of draw days (8 → 10 August), two different operators each had a back-to-back winner — 6079 at Magnum and 7593 at Da Ma Cai.

Two operators, same number, same night

A related rarity: the same number winning 1st prize at two operators on the same evening. That's happened twice in our archive — 4440 at both Magnum and Da Ma Cai on 9 October 2019, and 2852 at Grand Dragon and Sabah 88 on 15 April 2026.

Should this change how you play?

No — and that's the point. Thirteen repeats across tens of thousands of draws is roughly what pure chance predicts. Draws have no memory: after a number wins, its odds next draw are the same 1-in-10,000 as always. What these cases prove isn't a pattern — it's that with enough draws, even 1-in-10,000 lightning strikes twice.
