Magnum publishes an official forecast chart — a grid of digits you are invited to mine for your next 4D number. The page says “the forecast chart has correctly predicted one or more of the winning numbers of some recent draws”.
That claim is true. It is also guaranteed to be true, and a bit of counting shows exactly why.
How the chart is actually used
This is the part that matters, and it is easy to get wrong. You do not simply hunt anywhere on the grid. You take the Draw ID of the draw you are playing, find those digits sitting grouped together somewhere in the chart, and then build your number from the digits surrounding that spot.
Magnum's own worked example is the 4D Jackpot combination 7826 + 4208, which won Jackpot 1 on 16 August 2025 — draw ID 245/25. Look at the cells they highlight in blue and the rule is visible: each highlighted block contains the digits 2, 4, 5 — the draw ID — sitting right next to the digits that make up the winning number. That is the anchor doing its work.
What we counted
So we applied their rule. For draw ID 245, we searched both 2026 charts for every place where 2, 4 and 5 sit grouped together, then counted every 4-digit number you could build from the digits around each of those anchors.
Fifteen spots in the first chart, fourteen in the second. Twenty-nine different anchors for a single draw — and each one comes with a fresh neighbourhood of digits to choose from.

Read the instruction literally — “pick any 4 digits surrounding the Draw ID” — and 98.4% of every possible 4D number is reachable for that one draw. Even under a deliberately strict reading, where your four digits must touch each other and the anchor, more than half of all numbers still are. Both of Magnum's advertised winners are reachable under either reading.
Why “it predicted the winner” is arithmetic, not evidence
A single operator draws 23 numbers a night — 1st, 2nd, 3rd, ten Special and ten Consolation. When nearly every number is reachable before the draw happens, finding a match afterwards is not a prediction being confirmed. It is arithmetic.
This is the same reason a horoscope feels accurate: the claim is broad enough that reality cannot help but land inside it. To be fair to Magnum, they do not hide it — their own page carries the line “Use this guide at your own risk. Magnum is not responsible for its accuracy and / or reliability.”
So what would a fair chart look like?
We publish our own forecast chart, because the format is enjoyable and it is part of Malaysian 4D culture. We changed two things.
First, our grid is generated to contain the picks we publish before the draw — the same numbers listed on our prediction page, timestamped in our database hours or days ahead, and scored against the real results afterwards with the misses left on display. The numbers in the chart trace back to a commitment, rather than to nothing.
Second, every chart states its own coverage — how many of the 10,000 numbers can be found in it. The difference is that we print the figure instead of leaving you to assume the chart is cleverer than it is.
None of this makes our chart better at predicting. Nothing predicts a fair draw. It just means you know exactly what you are looking at.
