Our archive holds every published result from 25 April 1985 to today — 22,120 operator-draws and 508,818 winning numbers across Magnum, Sports Toto, Da Ma Cai and the East Malaysia operators. We counted all of them. Here's what four decades of draws actually look like.
Most appearances, any prize
Appearances in any of the 23 prize slots (1st/2nd/3rd, Special, Consolation), all operators combined, 1985 → July 2026. Tap a number for its full history.
Most 1st-prize wins
Landing the top prize is much rarer, and the leaderboard changes accordingly:
Number of times each number was a 1st prize, any operator, 1985 → July 2026.
Note the two lists barely overlap — the “luckiest” number overall (1024) isn't among the top 1st-prize winners. With 23 slots per draw, most appearances are Specials and Consolations.
The numbers still waiting
Every one of the 10,000 possible numbers (0000–9999) has appeared at least once in 40 years. But 1,084 numbers have never won a 1st prize — more than one in ten. Among them: 0025, 0037, 0111 and a thousand others quietly collecting Special and Consolation slots while the top spot eludes them.
What this does — and doesn't — mean
With ~508,818 hits spread over 10,000 numbers, the average number has appeared about 51 times; the leader's 80 is well within what randomness produces over this many draws. A number being historically frequent doesn't make its next appearance more likely — we tested exactly that claim in do hot numbers stay hot? (spoiler: they don't).
